There are different types of neoprene boots depending on the type of sport you are going to use them for. When choosing the size of your neoprene boots, we recommend choosing the same size as your regular shoes. A neoprene boot should fit snugly around your entire foot and not let water in. If your neoprene boot is too large, water will get in, and your boots will become heavy. On the other hand, boots that are too small will not be comfortable, as they will become unbearable over time, just like with regular shoes.
There are many different thickness levels for neoprene boots. The typical thickness is 5 mm, which is the recommended thickness for an all-round cold water neoprene boot. There are also thinner options, for warmer waters, where the primary reason for using them, is to walk comfortably in all sorts of water.
